Welcome to St Edmund's Academy nursery class!

We pride ourselves in offering a calm, nurturing environment in which to support children's personal, social and emotional development, encouraging their exploratory and investigative skills in order to build strong, resilient, independent learners equipped with the building blocks for their future life skills.

Under the school's current Ofsted 'Good' rating, we are continually striving to improve and develop our practice in order to ensure the very best experiences and outcomes for the children in our care.

Our nursery is open from 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday - Friday during term-time and is run by a team of experienced early years professionals lead by a qualified teacher.

We have places available now to children in the term after their third birthday. We also have some places available to children in the term before their third birthday.

We offer 15 hours universal funded entitlement for all 3 year olds and 30 hours funded entitlement for working parents. We are happy to support parents through the process of determining their child's entitlement.

We work with parents to offer flexible childcare to suit the needs of each individual family.

We welcome visits to the nursery to meet our team and view our well-resourced, expansive indoor and outdoor environments.

We currently run a weekly Stay & Play session in the nursery for parents and their children on Tuesday mornings from 8.45 - 9.30am.
